Ronald "Catfish" Matthews

          Mr. Ronald “Catfish” Matthews, age 64, of Rose Hill, NC (the Greenevers Community) passed away on Friday, September 29, 2023 in Wallace, NC.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 6, 2023 at 2:00 pm at New Christian Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Rose Hill, NC. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

Left to cherish his precious memories are: four brothers: Sherman Matthews (Angela) of Warsaw, NC, Burnice Matthews of Boston, MA, Elvis Matthews (Carol) and Nelson Matthews (Patricia) both of Warsaw, NC; three sisters: Lisa Matthews and Regina Matthews, both of Rose Hill, NC and Tracy Michelle Wade (Alvin) of Wallace, NC; one aunt, Othel Dixon; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss him dearly.
