Mrs. Rosia Lee Wooden-Sims, age 74, of Magnolia, NC, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at her residence in Magnolia, NC. Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 1:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 405 Rosemary Road, Rose Hill, NC. Viewing will be held one-hour prior to the service (12:00pm-1:00pm), at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Those left to cherish her memory and continue her legacy are the following: husband, John Sims, Sr. of Magnolia, NC; one son, John Sims, Jr. of Chinquapin, NC; two daughters, Tameka Satchell (Curtis) of Wallace, NC and Kira Cook (Paul) of Oxon Hill, MD; one brother, Bobby Wooden of Washington, Dc; three sisters:  Yordis Anderson of Magnolia, NC, Loraine Wooden of Washington, DC and Addie Wooden of Capitol Heights, MD; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; two aunts, Katie Faison of Warsaw, NC and Rachel Epps (Leon) Jackson Heights, New York; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss her dearly.
