Mr. Ruben Brady Gardner, Jr., age 75, of Teachey, NC passed away on Friday, February 20, 2026 at his home.

A visitation of family and friends will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2026 from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Rose Hill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026 at 5:00 pm at First Baptist Church, Teachey, NC.

Left to cherish his precious memories are his wife, Cynthia Gardner of the home; sons: Terry L. Currie-Gardner of Fairfield, Ohio and Ruben B. Gardner, III of Washington, DC; daughter, Felicia Umbles (Shawn) of Columbia, Ohio; brothers: Avery Gardner of Atlanta, Georgia and Orlando Gardner (Donna) of Canton, Ohio; eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren; four brothers-in-law and five sisters-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.
