Samuel George McGowan

           Mr. Samuel George McGowan, age 55, of Kenansville, NC passed away on Monday, October 31, 2022 at ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville, NC.

A visitation of family and friends will be Sunday, November 6, 2022, from 1:00 to 2:00 pm, one hour prior to the service. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 6, 2022, at Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 472 Wells Town Road in Rose Hill, NC at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Boykin Family Cemetery in Faison, NC.

Left to cherish his precious memories are one nephew, Eric McGowan (LaKendra) of Ewa Beach, Hawaii; two nieces: Destinee Brown of Clarkton, NC and Oneika Williams of Kenansville, NC; two aunts: Lucy Boykin Brinson of Warsaw, NC and Rosa Miller Boykin of Wake Forest, NC; one uncle, Clifton Jones of Warsaw, NC; three god-children: Jernisa Smith of Warsaw, NC, Zymere Miller of Kenansville, NC and Alex Barnes of Louisville, KY; special friend, Sandra Barnes of Rose Hill, NC; host of cousins  and friends who will miss him dearly.
