Mr. Teddy Ray Melvin, Jr., age 36, of Rose Hill, NC passed away on Monday, May 19, 2025 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh, NC.

Funeral services will be on Sunday, June 1st, 2025 at 2:00 pm at the Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 472 Wells Town Road in Rose Hill, NC. Burial will be at Duplin Memorial Gardens in Teachey, NC.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories three sons: Tyshawn Woods and Chase Darden of Raleigh, NC and Josiah Melvin of Smithfield, NC; one daughter, Janiyah Melvin of Raleigh, NC; parents: Hattie E. Sutton of Rose Hill, NC and Teddy R. Melvin, Sr. of Garland, NC; two sisters: Angjel Sutton-Melvin of Rose Hill, NC, Gretchen Williams of Raleigh, NC; other Siblings known: Santana Chestnutt, Alycia Melvin, David Melvin, Sedrick Jordan, Preston Autry and Antonio Melvin; special friend, Teara Hinton of Smithfield, NC; godfather/uncle, Oliver Sutton and godmother, Brenda Robinson; numerous aunts, uncles, great aunts, great uncles, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.
