Mr. Troy Othell Smith, age 86, of Kenansville, NC, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville, NC.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Rose Hill Funeral Home in Rose Hill, NC. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church Kenansville, 247 N Church Street in Kenansville, NC. Burial will follow at Dobson Family Cemetery in Magnolia, NC.

Left to cherish his precious memories are two sons: Anthony Boney (Evelyn) of Wisconsin and James O. Smith of Beulaville, NC; three daughters: Diana Rogers and Jeanette Smith, both of Beulaville, NC and Regina Smith of Kenansville, NC; one sister, Rosa Brown of Kenansville, NC; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss him dearly.
