Mrs. Velma Lee Finnick Faulk, age 89, of Rose Hill, NC, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at ECU Health Duplin Hospital in Kenansville, NC.

A visitation will be held on Monday, May 11, 2026 from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Rose Hill Funeral Home in Rose Hill, NC. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at 2:30 pm at the Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel in Rose Hill, NC. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Funeral Home Cemetery in Magnolia, NC.

Left to cherish her precious memories are her children: George A. Faulk of Springfield, VA, Cynthia G. Kirkman (Al) of Centennial, CO and Helen G. Faulk of Rose Hill, NC; two sisters: Earnestine Graham of Fayetteville, NC and Louise Lennon of Stedman, NC; daughter-in-law, Aquinetta Faulk of High Point, NC; nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; two step-sons: Lawrence Williams (Thea) of Baltimore, MD and George R. Goodman (Ann) of Ashland, OH; one adopted son, Derek E. Miller, MD (Shobhane) of Kenansville, NC; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss her dearly.
