Vernon Lamont King

          Mr. Vernon Lamont King, age 49, of Raleigh, NC passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 12:00 pm at Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel 472 Wells Town Road in Rose Hill, NC.

Left to cherish his precious memories are his wife, Schiwanda Anderson King; four children: Darius King, Nia Carr, Nakim Carr and Janiah Campbell; step-mother, Katherine R. Mitchell; four step-children: Aliyah McGee, Ayanna McGee, Shawn McGee, Jr. and Darrell Lavine; four sisters: Stephanie Harris, Tammy King, Shantasia Mitchell and Towanda Rhodes; five uncles, five aunts; one grandchild, Cameron McLean, four step-grandchildren; mother-in-law, Monica Anderson: three brothers-in-law, two sisters-in-law; two nieces, one nephew; numerous relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.
