Mrs. Virginia Stallings Pickett, age 71, of Wallace, NC, (the Deep Bottom Community) died Thursday, December 2, 2021, at Warsaw Health & Rehabilitation Center in Warsaw, NC. Graveside service is to be held at Pickett Family Cemetery in Wallace, NC on Friday, December 10, 2021, at 11:00 am. Left to cherish her memories are two sons: Tony Pickett (Jacqueline) of Wallace, NC and Barry Pickett (Elaine) of Durham, NC; two brothers: Macon Stallings (Bernice) and Roy Stallings (Toni), both of Beulaville, NC; three sisters: Mae Stallings of Newark, NJ, Margie Williams (Bobby) of Wallace, NC and Marie Stallings of Wendell, NC; six sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law, one aunt, one uncle; special nieces: Angela Simmons and Gladys Scarborough; sixteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends that will miss her dearly.
