Wannetta Edwina Carlton

          Commissioner Wannetta Edwina Carlton, age 68, of Wallace, NC passed away on Monday, February 13, 2023 in Warsaw, NC.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 17, 2023 at 1:00 pm at the Wallace Town Hall at 316 East Murray Street in Wallace, NC. A visitation will be held on Monday, February 20, 2023 at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 472 Wells Town Road in Rose Hill from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Adoram Missionary Baptist Church, 522 N Teachey Rd, Wallace, NC. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.

Left to cherish her precious memories are two brothers: Edward Carlton of Sacramento, CA and Lamon Carlton(Diane) Hinesville, GA; two sisters: Darlene Leysath of Wallace, NC and Sheryl Cannon (Mose) of Garner, NC; four aunts, five uncles: four nieces: Ashley Leysath, Tiarra Leysath, DaZenekkia  Carlton and Zipporah  Carlton; two nephews: Terrell Carlton and Dakeem Carlton; numerous relatives and friends that will miss her dearly.
