Mr. Wendell Bowen, age 66, of Wallace, NC, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at ECU Medical Center in Greenville, NC.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at 3:00 pm at the Newkirk Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 2990 Willard Road, Willard, NC. Interment will follow at the African American Community Cemetery, 2980 Willard Road, Willard, NC 28478

Left to cherish his precious memories are his son: Marcus W. Bowen, Radford, Va; one aunt: Patricia Boney, SC; a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends that will miss him dearly.
