Mrs. Willie Ruth Carr Scott, age 80, of Jacksonville, NC passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at home.
A viewing will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel in Rose Hill, NC, followed by funeral services at 12:00 noon. Burial will be on Monday, February 13, 2023 at 12:00 noon at Coastal Carolina Veteran’s Cemetery in Jacksonville, NC.
Left to cherish her precious memories are her husband, Nathan Scott of Jacksonville, NC; two sons: Derick Scott (Michelle) of Williamstown, NJ and Daryl Scott (Aisha) of Charlotte, NC; two sisters: Linda C. White (Earl Stanley) of Jacksonville, NC and Joyce Day (Harold) of Philadelphia, PA one aunt, Mattie Whitehead Copeland; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law; nieces, nephews, numerous relatives and friends that will miss her dearly.
